On October 22, 2024, the "Opening Bell" event was held at the Baku Stock Exchange to mark the launch of "UniBank KB" OJSC's manat bonds in the capital market. This event initiated the placement of the bank’s bonds totaling 20,000,000 (twenty million) AZN.

The event was opened by Oktay Qasımov, the Chief Commercial Officer of the Baku Stock Exchange, who emphasized the importance of increasing public investments in the capital market, stating, "The financing of the banking sector through capital markets serves to expand and develop the market." During the event, Tahir Qəribov, Chief Executive of Corporate Business at "UniBank KB" OJSC, Vüqar Namazov, CEO of Unicapital Investment Company, and Tələt Kalayev, Director of Unicapital Investment Company, shared their thoughts. They noted that the bond issuance by "UniBank KB" through the exchange is a successful outcome of initiatives aimed at developing the financial sector in our country. They also highlighted that this would play a significant role in providing new investment opportunities for citizens, contributing to the development of the financial sector.

They expressed confidence that the bonds issued by "UniBank KB" would positively impact the country's securities market and create profitable and reliable investment opportunities for our citizens.

It is worth mentioning that each of the proposed bonds has a nominal value of 100 manat, an annual interest rate of 11.5%, a payment period of every 90 days, and a term of 36 months. The underwriter for the placement of these unsecured, registered, interest-bearing bonds is "Unicapital" Investment Company.

This issue is aimed at financing environmental and ecologically sustainable projects. The bond issuance has received a positive evaluation from the Astana International Financial Centre as a second-party opinion, confirming that the funds will be exclusively allocated to financing purely green projects in accordance with international standards.

At the end of the event, representatives from the issuer, UniBank KB, the Baku Stock Exchange, and Unicapital Investment Company rang the bell to symbolize the launch of the bonds in the primary market. Thus, trading of the bonds on the Baku Stock Exchange's trading platform has commenced.
