On November 19-20, 2025, the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) participated in the 9th International Banking Forum.

The Forum featured panel sessions on the topics “Capital Markets and Investment Operations in the Modern Era,” “Borderless Banking: Global Forces Redefining the Financial Landscape,” “Risks and Regulatory Evolution,” “How Local Banks Are Shaping the Next Growth Wave,” and “Reliable, Secure and Sustainable Banking.”
Participants explored the future outlook of the financial sector, assessed approaches to strengthening financial resilience, and discussed the development of an efficient financial ecosystem.

The Deputy CEO of the Executive Board of the Baku Stock Exchange, Chief Commercial Officer, Ogtay Gasimov, delivered a speech at the panel session titled “Capital Markets and Investment Operations in the Modern Era.” In his remarks, he addressed recent developments in Azerbaijan’s capital markets, the opportunities available for issuers and investors, and the prospects that BSE’s integration into the Tabadul Hub will create for the domestic capital market.

The Forum, hosted by Azerbaijan, also welcomed representatives of government agencies, commercial banks, private enterprises, well-known international financial institutions, diplomatic missions, and academic circles.
