On February 19, 2025, "Green Taxonomy of Azerbaijan" session was held by AmCham Banking, Finance and Insurance Committee and Sustainable Development & Corporate Impact Committee.

During the event, Shahin Mahmudzade, Executive Director of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan made a presentation on "Green Taxonomy". Furthermore, Ogtay Gasimov, CEO deputy and Chief Commercial Officer of Baku Stock Exchange made speech on "Green Economy-Based Capital Market and its Advantages".

In the panel discussion that took place later, Shahin Mahmudzade, Executive Director of the Central Bank, Ogtay Gasimov, CEO deputy and Chief Commercial Officer of Baku Stock Exchange and Gunay Jalilova, Chairperson of the Banking, Finance and Insurance Committee of AmCham continued the question-and-answer session on the given subject.
