Within the framework of the commitment, on 30 April 2025 BSE hosted for its stakeholders the seminar on IFRS S1 & S2 Sustainability & Climate Reporting Standards for Businesses.

Nowadays global markets increasingly prioritize sustainability and climate-related financial disclosures and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) S1 & S2 set new benchmarks for transparency. Mrs. Marina Olshanskaya, Senior Climate Change and Sustainability Expert with 25 years of international experience, provided participants with the practical insights into implementing these standards within Azerbaijan’s business landscape, which can help companies to enhance credibility, attract investment and properly manage climate-related risks. 

Finance, sustainability, compliance, audit and ESG experts, who are involved in financial or non-financial reporting in various sectors of Azerbaijani economy, participated in the seminar and had the chance to ask questions to get the first-hand information as well as to discuss the various aspects of IFRS reporting for attracting investments.
