The Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) participated in “Fintex Summit 2025”, held on June 24–25, 2025, which is recognized as one of the most prestigious financial and banking events in the region.

The summit was organized by the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan, in partnership with the Azerbaijan Fintech Association, the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, and the International Banking Forum. The main theme of the event was: “New Trends in the Banking and Financial Ecosystem: Innovative Solutions, Fintech, and Security.”

The two-day summit brought together senior representatives of regulatory and supervisory bodies in the financial and economic sectors, top management of commercial banks and other financial institutions, leaders of local and international business and public organizations, representatives of academic circles, international financial institutions, and foreign embassies in Azerbaijan.

As part of the summit, Ms. Ulkar Ahmadova, representative of the Baku Stock Exchange, served as moderator of the panel discussion on the topic “The Role of Capital Markets in the Fintech Sector and the Digitalization Process.”
The panel focused on the enhancement of the investment environment, digital transformation in financial markets, and the application of innovative technologies within the capital markets.

At the conclusion of the summit, the organizers emphasized that Azerbaijan’s financial sector is open to innovation and fully prepared for international cooperation.
