On December 11–12, 2024, the delegation of the "Baku Stock Exchange" (BSE) attended the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA) event held in Abu Dhabi.

The Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA) is a non-profit organization that promotes best practices in investor relations across the Middle East. This annual event brings together listed issuers from the region, international companies, senior representatives from the world’s leading stock exchanges, investors, analysts, and representatives of regulatory bodies in the region. The event, organized in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), focused on topics such as the latest trends in investor relations, experiences and opportunities in regional capital markets, fostering sustainable relationships with individual investors, and building investor confidence in emerging markets.

In addition to participating in the event, the delegation of the Baku Stock Exchange held discussions with the delegation from the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange. These discussions centered on the development prospects of the countries' capital markets, the exchange of experiences between stock markets, and avenues for mutual cooperation.

It should be noted that the primary goal of the MEIRA conference is to raise awareness among stakeholders about the importance of investor relations, transparency, and corporate governance, as well as to promote dialogue around market challenges and best practices.
