The Baku Stock Exchange participated in the "INMerge" Innovation Summit on October 10, 2024. The Chairman of the Management Board, Ruslan Khalilov, spoke at a panel dedicated to the topic of "Data-Driven Management: The Future of the Decision-Making Process."

Alongside Ruslan Khalilov, the panel featured Fariz Jafarov, CEO of 4SIM; Ahmad Yousif, co-founder and head of Vision Innovation; Olga Skorokhodova, head of Government Relations and Public Policy for the Caucasus and Central Asia at Google; and the moderator Thayendran Naidoo, regional head of CAPTA Strategies Africa.

During his speech, Ruslan Khalilov discussed how data-driven strategies are transforming management practices, enhancing decision-making processes within companies, and the importance of data accessibility and transparency for the capital market. "The information provided to all investors or users must be presented in the most understandable form. At the Baku Stock Exchange, we aim to develop our technology and data infrastructure with this in mind. Additionally, the availability of data is crucial not only through trading platforms but also through full integration into the information systems of banks and investment companies," said Ruslan Khalilov.

The goal of the region's largest innovation summit is to contribute to the development of the innovation ecosystem by bringing together leading figures from various sectors to discuss the latest developments and trends in technology, innovation, and management, creating opportunities for startups and investors to collaborate, and establishing a platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences among all participants in the innovation ecosystem.
