On March 12, 2025, the 12th International Caspian Investment Forum was held with the joint organization of the Caspian Energy Club and the Azerbaijan National Business Association and the official partnership of the Baku Stock Exchange.

The opening speeches of the forum were delivered by Mr. Telman Aliyev, Chairman of the Caspian Energy Club and CEO of the group, Mrs. Umeyra Ibrahimova, Director of Capital Market Policy and Regulation Department at the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ruslan Khalilov, CEO of the Baku Stock Exchange, Mr. Mushfig Ahmadli, Advisor to CEO of National Depositary Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Jeyhun Hajiyev, CEO of AFBIA (Azerbaijan Stock Market Participants Association).

One of the main discussion topics of the 12th International Caspian Investment Forum, “Development of bond and stock markets” covered the future development dynamics of the financial sector, modern market requirements and new trends. The extensive discussions held around this topic allowed the participants to better understand the essence of changes in financial markets, their importance for investors and prospective opportunities.

The panel discussion "Strategic Development of Local Companies through Capital Markets", moderated by Mr. Ogtay Gasimov, Deputy CEO and Chief Commercial Officer of the Baku Stock Exchange, featured Mr. Asaf Mammadov, Head of the Securities Registration Department of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Nejat Ersoy, Group CFO of Azersun Holding, Mrs. Parvana Gasimova, Member of the Board of Directors of AFBIA and Mr. Jeyhun Baloglanov, Tribe Leader for Lending, Innovation and Service Optimization at PASHA Bank.

The forum served as a platform for discussing the development in the financial and investment areas not only of Azerbaijan, but also of the region as a whole. The event brought together international investors, financial experts, and representatives of various sectors interested in economic development, creating an opportunity for an exchange of views and strategic discussions.
