A delegation from the Baku Stock Exchange, led by the CEO, Mr. Ruslan Khalilov conducted a working visit to Georgia from September 18 to 19. The primary objectives of the visit were to enhance regional cooperation and exchange best practices in capital market development.

During the visit, Mr. Khalilov held meetings with leading Georgian financial institutions, Georgian Stock Exchange and Georgian Central Securities Depository.

The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between the Azerbaijani and Georgian capital markets, sharing expertise in market infrastructure, and identifying joint initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable growth and increasing investor confidence in the region.

This visit reaffirms the Baku Stock Exchange’s strategic commitment to deepening cross-border partnerships, advancing regional financial integration, and contributing to the long-term development of resilient and transparent capital markets in the South Caucasus.
