Baku Stock Exchange participated in the Multi-Country Islamic Finance Capacity Building Programme held from 13 to 17 October 2025, organized by the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB). The event gathered regulators and financial institutions from across Central Asia, including representatives from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

The intensive training programme aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of Islamic banking operations, liquidity management, Shari’ah-compliant financial instruments, product structuring, and regulatory supervision. Drawing on Malaysia’s dual banking system and its globally recognized Shari’ah Governance Framework, the programme combined theoretical foundations with practical applications, featuring contributions from Bank Negara Malaysia and leading Islamic financial institutions.
