The Roundtable aims at bringing together the heads of major stock exchanges worldwide to discuss the evolving landscape of global financial markets, share insights on emerging trends in 2025, exploring innovative solutions and strategies for addressing market volatility and fostering sustainable growth, fostering stronger collaboration and cooperation among stock exchange markets to address shared challenges and opportunities, and collaborate on strategies to enhance market stability, transparency, and investor confidence.
The Heads of Stock Exchange Markets Roundtable discussed the following three main pillars like Regulatory Challenges and Opportunities, Cross-border listings and collaboration, and Sustainable Finance and ESG Integration.
Mr. Ruslan Khalilov, CEO of Baku Stock Exchange spoke about Azerbaijan's roadmap for market growth: targeted corporate tax incentives for IPOs, SME-specific frameworks, and streamlined cross-listing processes at the Heads of Stock Exchange Markets Roundtable. He also addressed the balance of exchange consolidation—where benefits like broader investor access and enhanced liquidity must be weighed against technical integration challenges and systemic risk considerations.
