Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) held its 5th " Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy" ceremony today as part of "World Investors Week 2024," dedicated to promoting investor education and financial literacy On October 8, 2024.

The ceremony featured speeches from prominent figures in the financial sector, including Ogtay Gasimov, Chief Commercial Officer of BSE, Farid Abbaszade, Product Development Supervisor at BSE, Murad Yahyayev, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Stock Market Participants' Association (ASMPA), Vugar Namazov, CEO of Unicapital Investment Company, and Amina Ilyanova, Head of Treasury at Nobel Energy Management Company. The speakers highlighted the crucial role of investor literacy in driving economic development, ensuring market stability, and fostering a deeper understanding of green bonds and sustainable investing.

During their remarks, they emphasized the importance of enhancing financial literacy and educating investors to build a resilient and transparent capital market. Baku Stock Exchange has been a member of the World Federation of Stock Exchanges (WFE) since January 2020, actively working towards aligning Azerbaijan's capital market with international standards. Strengthening transparency, enhancing market trust, and promoting global best practices remain key priorities for BSE.
