ON September 23, 2025 Baku Stock Exchange participated in the meeting of the Financial Services Working Group of the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan), delivering a presentation on the topic “Alternative Financing for Businesses: What Are the Advantages of Capital Markets?”

During the event, Mr. Farhad Mansurov, Chief Listing Advisor of the BSE, presented the available investment opportunities, and local market instruments. He also engaged in an insightful discussion with Mr. Ilkin Guliyev, Chairman of the AHK Azerbaijan Financial Services Working Group, discussing the differences and advantages between traditional financing options and capital market-based financing for local businesses.

The discussions emphasized the importance of continuing regulatory reforms aimed at increasing market transparency and strengthening investor confidence.

It should be noted that one of the BSE’s key objectives in the local capital market is to ensure wider access to investors for issuers, enhance transparency, promote financial literacy, and strengthen market participation, thereby fostering a more accessible and sustainable financial environment.
